A FEW QUESTIONS ANSWERED

EMAIL ME BELOW

  • Getting stuck or having doubts about a design are totally normal! Sometimes all it takes is a new perspective to unlock everything and get you going again. I can help you with this. I review your drawings to look for missed opportunities; solve specific layout problems; and provide ideas to improve on the existing floorplan.

I can be flexible and help in any way you feel would be most beneficial - if you have questions that I haven't answered here, please do just get in touch!

  • Unusually for an architect, I offer my services on an hourly rate with the aim of working fast and efficiently to keep the final cost as low as possible. The time needed will depend on your brief so get in touch and we can discuss your brief.

  • This is for you if you fit any of these:

    • You've been working with a design professional and would like a second opinion.

    • You feel there's potential in an existing floor plan but you need help to see if your ideas are possible.

    • You've designed your own plans and are stuck on specific areas.

If those don't fit you but you still think I could help, just drop me an email - I can be flexible.

  • Get in touch and we can chat about your project. I'll always review it first to make sure I can definitely be helpful to you before you book. If you'd like to go ahead I'll ask you for a deposit equal to 1.5 hours to confirm.

If you'd like to, we can have a video call to get things going or I can work with the info you've sent me. I'll let you know if I have any questions and will always make sure that the process is as productive as possible for you.

  • So that I can work fast and efficiently, I focus on providing you with clear, thoughtful information rather than polished presentation drawings. This usually comes in the form of hand drawn plan drawings and notes to explain them. If I feel images or other sketches would help further, I'll always include them.

Once you've reviewed the above, you're welcome to ask me questions and have a video call to discuss things further. To help you budget, I'll let you know how much time has been spent on your project up to that point so that you're always in control.

  • A shared folder (Google Drive or similar with open permissions) with as many drawings and photos as you have so that I can get a good understanding of your project.

Please also include a clear brief that sets out the exact problems you are facing and your ambitions/dreams for the project (TIP: the clearer you are, the faster I can work). If you have priority areas to focus on, please state these to ensure I address them first.

PLEASE NOTE: I can't work from sketched plan drawings. Estate Agents’ plans are often inaccurate but are often enough for a broad-brush approach from me. As a general rule of thumb: the more professional the drawings, the more accurate I can be. Ideally a professionally measured set of survey/proposal drawings is best - please ask for more info on this if needed.
